Our guide, Robert, was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and Aruba in general, and he was very easy to talk to. He also had a unique ability to spot animals that most people would almost certainly otherwise miss. Additionally, the private nature of the tour made it so he was able to help the two of us make sure we had the best experience we possibly could — this included ample prep for the snorkeling. All together it was a fantastic excursion. I’d give it an 11/10. Yes, 11.
Do not hesistate to book any tour with this company! Let me start off by saying that we do not take tours, but I have read about this company, they are local, and they sounded special. My husband and I received a private hike and snorkeling adventure with Rob. Rob was very knowledgable about the natural habitat of the isand and educated us along the way. I was nervous about snorkeling at first but due to Rob's expertise and calming energy I was a pro in no time and had a fantastic experience. You will see lots of fish and gorgeous coral!! The next time I am in Aruba this is the only company I will book with!! Thanks again Rob
I called Fins & Feet Nature Tours after a friend recommended them after she did a tour. Communication was excellent -- I had questions before booking that were answered, they let me know by email exactly what to bring, and there were no surprises. Rob picked us up promptly in a clean SUV and we were on our way. The hike to the peak was a beautiful and Rob pointed out different plants and birds as we walked. After the hike we had a snack break, stopped at the Donkey sanctuary for a short break, then we headed to the water. He first walked us to the water and explained what we would be doing, then we got our gear and got into the water. The snorkle gear was great and Rob had a safety tube with us that made it easy to follow him. There was comfort in knowing that I could get to it if I had trouble and he seemed to always know where each of the 3 of us was. The view was beautiful once we got to the reef. Rob was attentive to our small group, professional, and able to have fun with our group. I will also be recommending him to others. I loved the personalized tour!
We had such a great tour with Rob when we were in Aruba! He picked us up at our hotel, and he followed all covid guidelines, so we always felt safe and taken care of. He was so knowledgeable while we hiked in the national forest and snorkeled in the sea. He took care of all of the details, with water and snacks and any equipment we needed. Another thing that we loved is that Rob had so much respect for the environment around us and he used reusable containers and followed all of the rules to keep the trails and the sea clean. Thank you Rob!
Great experience. Rob is very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna on the island. The private tour feels like you’re traveling with a friend. He was very patient with us and allowed us the time we needed to get comfortable with the hike and the snorkel. Saw several owls, the national bird, along the hike. Really nice view of the island when reaching the top. Different perspective of Aruba then all the tourist parts of the island.
We did the Top of Aruba hike/snorkeling trip and we’re so glad we did! Rob is a local who truly cares about Aruba and maintaining its environmental integrity. The hike was excellent and informative- we even were lucky enough to see the National bird of Aruba. Then, it was a surprise trip to the donkey sanctuary which also provided some history- our kids (8,12,13) loved it. We finished the morning with snorkeling with sea turtles and saw a ton of other marine life. Rob made sure our kids felt comfortable in the water and stayed with them to ensure their safety. We highly recommend any of his tours and we’ll definitely do another when we return. We wish we encountered more people like him giving tours during our trip. Don’t hesitate to book with them!
On our recent trip to Aruba we spent a wonderful morning with Rob from Fins & Feet. “Rob the Legend” as my children call him because the experience was legendary and we all learned so much. Fins & Feet thought of everything. The care they take to ensure their guests have great, safe excursions was evident. The view from the top of Mount Jamanota was extraordinary! It was our children's first time snorkeling on a reef and Rob made sure they were comfortable and gained their trust immediately. The pictures taken during the snorkel were a lovely addition.
We spent the rest of our trip looking for the birds, fish and plants we had learned about on our adventure - repeating facts Rob shared about the wildlife and Aruba.
The next time we are on the island we would positively book another experience with Fins & Feet. We appreciated their expertise and the uniqueness of their tours.
Me and my husband went on this tour for our honeymoon and it was the best experience ever! Rob is so nice and super knowledgeable about Aruba and the wildlife. He made us feel extremely comfortable the whole time and provided water and food. We even got a fun surprise detour along the way. The hike was peaceful and beautiful and the snorkeling was a blast! He even took pictures of the reefs for us. You can tell Rob is extremely passionate about what he does and I can’t recommend Fins & Feet enough!
My husband and I came to Aruba (first timers) for our honeymoon. We wanted to start the trip off by seeing some really nice views. Our private tour guide Rob was kind, knowledgeable, and gracious. He led us through the hike and stopped to show us all the wildlife Aruba has to offer. We did an impromptu stop at the donkey sanctuary (highly recommend) and ended with a stunning ocean snorkel. It was everything we could’ve asked for and we are so happy we started off our trip with Rob and Fins and Feet!
The top of Aruba hiking and snorkeling excursion with Rob was top notch!!! Rob is so knowledgeable about the wildlife and plants on the hike as well as pointing out all the landmarks of Aruba when you get to the top. You can tell Rob takes great pride in his country. We saw many species of birds on our hike and two burrowing owls. I was nervous about snorkeling but Rob really took the time to explain everything and make sure I felt comfortable before taking us out to the reef. He has great snorkeling equipment too which really helped me feel at ease. I read a lot of reviews about the bigger snorkeling companies in Aruba that take you out to the ocean and just basically throw you in with no real instruction, which is why I decided to try out Fins and Feet instead. Rob even provides snacks and water, which is a really nice touch. If I ever come back to Aruba, I will definitely do another tour with Rob! An excursion with Fins and Feet is a must do for anyone visiting Aruba! Thanks again Rob for a wonderful experience!!
